Hypnosis for Birth
An increasing number of parents are realizing the benefits of self-hypnosis training as a facilitator of the birthing process. This involves attending classes, practicing and using the techniques to stay relaxed during labor. This can help avoid pain and interventions while reducing the length of labor. Parents who choose this option report that their babies are very calm and relaxed as well. Hypnobirthing certification is now available and there are many practitioners available. The mind has an incredible ability to control the body. There are some cultures that don't associate pain with birth and some of these claim not to experience birth as painful.
